Day 1 USA/Athens
  Depart USA on overnight flight to Athens. Dinner and breakfast served on board.
Day 2 Athens
  Upon arrive to Athens, meet with your guide and transfer to Tola (Nafplion). Overnight in Tolo x 1 night. [D]
Day 3 Tolo
  Drive through the region of Argolis and visit Corinth, Mycenae and Epidaurus. Overnight in Olympia x 1 night. [BD]
Day 4 Olympia
  After a visit to the Museum and the Archeological Excavations, proceed to Delphi considered one of the most famous relics of classic Greece. Overnight: Delphi x 1 night. [BD]
Day 5 Delphi
  Stan the day by visiting the Monastery of Osios Lukas, one of the earliest and most important Greek-Byzantine Monasteries located near [he Sanctuary of the Oracle of Delphi and the nearby Parnassos National Park; the Archeological Museum and the excavations including: ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Temple, the Treasury, the Theater and {he Stadium. Depart Delphi to Kalambaka. Overnight: Kalambaka x 1 night. [BD]
Day 6 Kalambaka
  Visit the world-famous Meteora to see the Monasteries of St. Stephen and Varlaam, perched atop huge granite rocks that seem to be suspended in mid-air. Continue to Athens. Overnight: Athens x 2 nights. [BD]
Day 7 Athens
  Tour of Athens, cradle of western civilization, visit: the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Caryatids, the Propylae, the Erectheum and the Areopagus, where St. Paul began preaching to the Gentiles. In the afternoon visit Cape Sounion, famous for the temple of Poseidon. [BD]
Day 8 Athens
  Enjoy a mini-cruise to the three islands of the Saronic Gulf: Aegina, Poros and Hydra.
Day 9 Athens/Rome
  Transfer to Athens airport for your flight to Rome. Overnight: Rome x 4 nights. [BD]
Day 10 Rome*
  Tour of Rome including: the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Church of St. Peter in Chains to see Michelangelo's unique statue of Moses, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona. [BD]
Day 11 Rome*
  Visit the Religious Rome starting with the Vatican Museums and its unique treasures: the Candelabras, the Tapestries and the Geographic Maps Galleries, the Raphael Rooms and Michelangelo's magnificent masterpiece • the Sistine Chapel Continue to St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church in Christendom and then proceed to visit the three major Basilicas: St. Mary Major, one of the oldest shrines dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, a shrine containing a relic from the manger of the infant Jesus; St. John in Lateran, [he former residence of the Popes prior to their return to Rome in 1377; St. Paul Outside the Wall, which houses the remains of St. Paul under its main altar. Day 12 Rome*
  Enjoy the day at you leisure to discover Rome by your own: time for last minute shopping or to reflect on the many years of Christian continuity in the world centre of the Western Church. [BD]
Day 13 Rome/USA
  Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.
